Lost and Found

By Gayle Roper

Dinah Hyland comes from the perfect family. She has always looked forward to the day she has her own home. Her distress over her lost dream runs deep when she is medically unable to have children.
Connor Marshall’s family was less than stellar. He plans to remain a bachelor and teach in China only to lose his dream when he becomes guardian to his late sister’s four small children.
Both struggle with God as it seems He has taken what matters most to them.
When Connor’s new family attends Hobby Horse House, Dinah’s day care, tension between the two grows as she observes how inept he is in caring for the kids and he sees how good she is. While they work to find harmony—and more—they must save the children from a kidnapper and find peace with their disappointment in God.

Some things are more important than staying safe.

Even as Ellie returns, she does all she can to keep the secrets that have protected them all for the past eight years. God, please keep us safe.
Some situations create more questions than they answer.
Football coach and police chief Gabe Hyland is excited to have a player of Nick’s caliber on his team. Finally a winning season seems a real possibility—until Ellie threatens to pull Nick from the team. Why would a mother make such a threat? What secrets is she keeping? God, please give me insight.
Some situations turn out the way they should.
Joey Terafino has been waiting years to find Ellie and Nick. No one makes a fool of him and gets away with it. He’ll do whatever it takes to get his son back and teach Ellie a richly deserved lesson. When he learns they’re both nearby….
Some people hide. Some people seek. Conflict always results.
